Hearings will be held on Wednesday evenings at the East Cobb YMCA on East Piedmont & Roswell Road.
Hearings start at 7pm but team representative are required to be there a minimum of 15 minutes early.

If you/your team is excused from your schedule night, then you may be called back into rotation at a later date.
The Discipline Chair will contact the team managers by Monday evening if you are excused.

Team representation attendance is mandatory, If your team does not have a Representative present for your scheduled hearing
Failure to attend or to send a representative will result in a one game suspension for the team manager.Representative's do not have to be the team manager or co manager/ coach. Representatives can be anyone that the team designates as their D&P representative.

What is a Discipline hearing:

A discipline hearing is a formal meeting by team Representative to "hear" a misconduct by a player or team

What do they Hear?

The Committee only hears a limited number of league issues. Reds Cards for Serious Foul Play or Violent Conduct, Game Forfeits and Game terminations.

What about Appeals or Referees Assault or Abuse?

Appeals are heard by a separate adjudication committee only after there has been a Discipline Hearing. Referee Assault & Referee Abuse are considered a more serious misconduct and those hearings are conducted by Georgia State Soccer and may carry, not just our league, but a state wide suspension or ejection from play.

Why would my team be excused?

Players & Teams have a right to an impartial (unbiased) three member committee. If the hearing is for a team/player in your division or club you may be excused from that hearing.

Are there ever more than one hearing a night?

Yes, sometimes the committee has to hear more than one misconduct issue so you may sit for one or more, but you may also be excused from one but still have to hear another. That is why we schedule all four divisions.

What do I need to bring?

Nothing, All information you will need will be distributed at the hearing. That is why we ask the committee members to be there a minimum of 15 minutes early for instruction.

What do I do during a hearing?

You will sit and hear testimony from the "defendant", testimony from the opposing team and other witnesses. There will also be Referee/Assistant referee reports to review, After "hearing" every thing and asking questions. Your committee will decide the discipline of the misconduct and notify the player/team & league.
